Can you deliver overseas?
Yes – we are able to deliver the Roots Book Notebook anywhere in the world using proven International Courier services such as UPS and FedEx. Some territories may incur an extra delivery charge – we will contact you if this is the case.
The Roots Book eBook edition & Multimedia eBook editions are digital products and are delivered digitally.
How many Chapters & Pages are there in the Notebook version?
Roots Book consists of 198 pages. Half Canadian bound (ring /wiro bound) so that it is easy to write in. There are 15 chapters as well as pages for notes and doodles. There is also a handy pocket for photos, tickets and other paper memorabilia.
It is easy to remove any pages that are not relevant to your own life .
How long does it take to complete a Roots Book?
We find that when a person receives their Roots Book – either in Notebook or eBook format they are completely engrossed from the off! Of course how long it takes a person to complete their book depends on the person and the time they have available. It is more of a project than a book and we have also seen that it encourages engagement with other family members too.
The RootsBook Multimedia edition seems for many people to be the quickest and most accessible method as it requires only that you record your answers using your smartphone or tablet / pc similar to how people use WhatsApp and FaceTime.
Do you offer a refund if I change my mind?
If for any reason within 14 days of your purchase of your Roots Book notebook edition you are unhappy with your purchase for whatever reason (and provided the book has not been written in) then just contact us to arrange return and a full refund will be issued. We will require that you post the book back to us at your cost. We recommend that you use a “signed for” or tracked service.
In the case of your Roots Book eBook or multimedia eBook editions – this service is exempt from the Consumer Contract Regulations (formally the Distance Selling Regulations) as they are custom bespoke products that are set up and customised for you therefor we would be unable to refund you on those particular editions.
What do the 3 different editions cost?
The Roots Book Notesbook (Canadian bound paperback) is £20.00 (or equivalent foreign currency) and that includes postage. There may be aditional postage costs for Countries outside of the US/UK/EU. We will let you know if there is.
The RootsBook eBook edition is £79.00 and this includes the final published production of your eBook in both Kindle, ePub and PDF format. Easy to share with as many people as you like.
Our premium Roots Book multimedia edition is £189.00. This includes the final hand crafted multimedia eBook production. You can share with as many as people as you like.
Our Key Purpose
One of the consequences of myself getting older is that I have come to realise how fleeting our time here on earth really is. Once we are here and then we are gone. We only ever really see small glimpses of other peoples lives. Even those that we love and cherish. My own recent near death experience has brought this project into sharper focus.
Each of us have a story to tell and our stories are full of those twists and turns, ups and downs, events and people that make up the elements that have shaped us.
My purpose with Roots Book is to enable anybody to be able to tell their stories in as authentic a manner as possible. Whether by writing physically in their Roots Book Notebook or by typing (in the case of our Roots Book eBook version) or by recording themselves for their own Roots Book multimedia edition – each Roots Book becomes a uniquely treasured autobiography.
The main objective is that your stories are told and able to be shared with your loved ones. Our collaboration with each other with Roots Book ensures that your story is told in an authentic manner and then produced in a format that people will enjoy.
Your story can become a beautiful legacy for those who love you and even for those generations who are still to come.
Roots Book is available in 3 versions. The simplest version is our RootsBook Notebook. Simply answer the questions by writing your answers inside the book. When you have completed your book it becomes a beautiful autobiography.
The eBook edition is published once you have answered the questions featured on our downloadable eBook app.
The premium and unique multimedia eBook edition is completed once you have submitted your answers that you would have recorded using your phone, pc or tablet.
